When founder Chris Kolodziejski began his skin care research, he quickly assessed that there were indisputable scientific advancements that must be included in Chellá's formulations. He has also studied antioxidants and vitamins and the verifiable effects they have in a skin care regimen. Undaunted by the sheer volume of his research, Kolodziejski made the choice of a practical man. Chellá would have it all. BIO of our Founder, Chris Kolodziejski

Christopher James Kolodziejski has always been a winner. A natural athlete and captain of every team, he learned early that attitude was the important factor to combine with talent. He parlayed this philosophy to the University of Wyoming where he studied finance--and played football. He earned his BS in 1983 and became the second draft choice, and the starting tight end, for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1984. At the age of 22, Chris had already achieved a lifetime goal. A serious knee injury against the 49er's in his rookie year cut his football career short, but sidelined he was not. By 1985, he founded a real estate and construction company specializing in high-end residential single family housing and land subdivisions in Malibu, CA where he built and sold over $10 million worth of homes. He also completed the land development of 100 lots including the infrastructure and entitlements worth in excess of $100 million. Chris built upon this experience and later founded his own real estate mortgage brokerage company. He arranged a $28 million financing in 1995, which achieved the highest loan-per-foot ratio recorded in the previous five years in California. He also successfully advised a real estate company on refinancing, which led to a $275 million IPO offering. By 2000, Chris was involved in securing a technology company's bridge financing. He had the opportunity to watch the product evolve and the company grow. They were preparing to go public when the bottom fell out of the IPO market. Chris gained tremendous knowledge and insight into the world of technology and how it was changing commerce forever.

He embraced this change, and knew he wanted to build an ecommerce business around the creation of his own product for the anti-aging market segment. As he studied the desires of an aging population, he quickly knew what was needed-a way to stay youthful looking with vibrant, radiant skin without painful injections, surgical procedures and promises of false hopes. Chris formed Mosaic Marketing Partners in 2003 and did his due diligence. He researched the latest and greatest scientific discoveries, along with all the other natural elements and ingredients that would work to create beautiful, renewed skin. The findings were exciting and surprising--there were many ingredients that could enhance the skin. Why not combine the very best of each type of skin care? Chris consulted with respected and renowned skin care Formulators and began to pick the team to create his vision.
